Vittoria has raced from go-karts to single-seaters, beside experiences in Touring cars. In 2010 she raced for two years in Formula Abarth, Italian and European championship. She started 16 GP3 races in 2012, then competed in Euro Formula 3, finishing 4th in Jerez and at Le Castellet. Meantime in the USA, Vicky also trialled Pro Mazda.

Early 2019, she has been selected amongst hundred of candidates to take part in the brand new and innovative first women single-seater championship, the WSeries. She went through all the first selection stages: physical tests, media training, driving activities, feedback, lap times…

After four days of on-track action, during which the 28 drivers vying for a place on the W Series grid completed 3,000 laps of the Circuito de Almeria, the final line-up has been announced. Eighteen women representing 13 nationalities will be making history by racing in the first ever all-female single-seater racing series; four more have been nominated as reserves. And Vicky Piria is part of it, making na amazing comeback in single-seaters 5 years after his last race. The Italian was amongst the quickest drivers on track.

First W Series race will be held in Hockenheim, from 3rd to 4th of May, during the DTM weekend.

She’s a pro driving instructor for iconic brands Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Maserati, and she’s active in the media.
